Sigma Chi Mourns the Passing of Executive Director, Michael H. Dunn
January 24, 2014

It is with great sadness that Sigma Chi Fraternity and Foundation announces the passing of the Fraternity's Executive Director, Michael H. Dunn, Utah State 1976, to the Chapter Eternal.

The Fraternity's Grand Consul, Michael A. Greenberg, Illinois Wesleyan 1982, issued the following: "I have had the honor of celebrating some of our finest and happiest moments and some sad moments too. It is with a deep sense of sadness today that I report that our friend, mentor, colleague, family member and brother, passed to the chapter eternal in his sleep last night.

Michael served the fraternity with great distinction. His passion for our brothers, his love of his friends, and his belief in our ideals and values, drove his desire to work tirelessly in promoting the name of Sigma Chi to all that would listen.

Those of us that knew Mike are aware that he would not want us to be remorseful or somber, but instead celebrate his life and continue our journey of moving Sigma Chi forward in its leadership quest.

Arrangements and more information will be forthcoming. All Honor to His Name."

The Sigma Chi Foundation has setup up a website to accept donations in honor of a truly great man and brother at http://foundation.sigmachi.org/tribute-for-mike. All proceeds will be used to establish a leadership fund to honor Brother Mike.
